| ANALYSIS OF: BACKGROUND: | | |
   Aurora's HistoryAurora was born in Yerevan, Armenia to sweethearts Marina and Darius Sarkissian. Her mother was an Armenian-born model and singer with her father being an Iranian-born wealthy nightclub and restaurant chain owner. Soon after her birth, Marina and Darius began having family-based problems and decided to separate for a while. During their separation, Marina soon found a boyfriend who would become step-father to Aurora. The stepfather was an alcoholic who would abuse the family when intoxicated, which was very often. This abuse caused Aurora to grow up with little to no self-confidence but her mother would always assure her that she was beautiful. The wealth of the family masqueraded their abuse but no amount of money could solve their problems. As she was growing up, Aurora soon developed a hard exterior, shutting off any negativity that would try and inflict her. She mainly kept to herself in school. This hard exterior soon developed due to news of her stepfather passing away due to "unknown causes", leaving only her mother with her. After years of abuse she plucked the courage to live freely like she should have all her life. After this ordeal with the death of her step-father, both of her parents realised that their love couldn't keep them apart. The Sarkissian family decided to all move to the United States. Aurora managed to keep up with school work as she was studying hard in a new high school and slowly breaking out her shell. Eventually her grades were sky high and she was even allowed to skip a year, enabling her to join Sedgwick Academy. Aurora, like her mother, majors in Modern Languages and does some modelling and print work on the side. Aurora has just arrived at Sedgwick - who knows what is in store for her?    |
